Cleats, sidewalls and profiles
Conveyor belts with transverse cleats, corrugated sidewalls and profiles are used to convey material up an incline. The type, height and spacing are made to the customer's specification.
Corrugated sidewalls
Vulcanised corrugated sidewalls stop material spilling over the edge of the belt and allow conveying at a steeper angle. The sidewall height and pitch are determined by the throughput and the type of material.
Cleats
Transverse cleats are produced in various heights and shapes — straight, “L” and “Z” profile — and are vulcanised to the top cover of the belt.
The type, height and spacing of cleats, sidewalls and profiles are produced strictly to the customer's requirement and drawing.
